Browsholme, has more choice than any other venue for wedding couples to create their perfect day. We are a Lancashire wedding venue that takes pride in meeting our couples’ aspirations, whether for a large party, or an intimate number of guests. Every wedding is tailor-made, and our team care for you and your guests to deliver the best hospitality. Set in over 600 acres of countryside, our glorious wedding venue is in the Forest of Bowland, and only 5 miles from Clitheroe.
Tithe Barn & Courtyard
The Tithe barn is the focus for most ceremonies, receptions and evening party. For a rustic setting and decorated to your specification the magnificent historic Tithe Barn is for you. Two seventeenth century historic barns, lovingly restored, provide the perfect balance of romance, tradition and rusticity.
Plenty of room for friends and family
The Tithe Barn can cater for 120 for the breakfast then up to 200 for the evening party where you can dance until midnight. Outside there is a private courtyard, a bar to entertain your guests; even a wood-fired oven for hot and fresh homemade pizzas.
Fully exclusive for the day
Couples have a choice of locations to celebrate their marriage and entertain their guests. Weddings are a time to celebrate, and where better than at Browsholme, which encompasses the marriages, dreams and achievements of generations. We pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering weddings and events to the highest standard. That may be from sourcing local ingredients for your food; training our staff to anticipate your needs; or lighting the firepits in the courtyard so you can enjoy a beautiful evening.
The Pavilion at the Lily Pond
The Lily Pond sits at the southern end of the Wilderness garden, and the pavilion is a beautiful, rustic building crafted from Browsholme’s own two hundred year old oak trees.

Browsholme has four wonderful locations for civil ceremonies, and many historic churches within a short drive away. Few other venues give you so many options for a marriage ceremony! Civil ceremonies can be held in the Tithe Barn, outside at the Lily Pond, the stunning Regency Drawing Room in Browsholme Hall, or even for 2021 a new woodland location the Lonesome Pine.
